How to grow Parsley

Parsley is such a versatile herb and an on-hand must have! Parsley is great garnish to add into pastas, pizzas, salads and fish!

It's also jam packed with nutrients including vitamins A, C and K and can also act as an antioxidant and improve bone health!

When planting parsley keep the following points in mind and you'll have this herb on hand in no time:

  • It needs full sun,

  • Likes rich soil,

  • Can be drought tolerant, so it’s a forgivable plant,

  • When watering - water evenly,

  • If you’re sowing seeds, plant ¼ inches deep but remember seedlings can be slow to germinate and take around 3 weeks to sprout, so don’t get discouraged,

  • Parsley is ready to be harvested once the plant has grown three stems,

  • To harvest cut the leaves further from the stem allowing the plant to keep producing.

Parsley is an easy herb to grow that will do well in a planter or in the ground. Happy planting!
